A project to reinstate vision of poor people by Cataract operation at free of cost.

Since inception of our charitable eye clinics in Sundarbans, we observed that a large section of poor people is having very poor eye sight due to cataract. Since then, we had a dream to carry out cataract operation of such poor people at free of cost. Upon completion of our eye hospital at Taki, we initiated this project on 6th March 2020.

This is one of our dream projectsto do cataract operation of poor people of Sundarbans at free of cost.

Our Trust bear all kind of costs which include cost of medical tests (ECG, Sugar, Biometry, syringing etc.), cost of medicines, surgeon fee, cost of lens, cost of accessories, cost of spectacles, cost of transportation to bring these patients from Sundarbans, cost of food and lodging etc.

In the financial year 2020-21, free cataract operation done for 49 poor villagers.

In the last financial year 2021-22, we have completed free cataract operations of 100underprivileged people from Sundarbans.

In the current financial year 2022-23, our target is do free cataract operation of 200 poor villagers from Sundarbans during the period October 2022- March 2023
