About Dighir Ganguly Foundation Trust

Dighir Ganguly Foundation Trust, is formed by Mrs. Sima Ganguly and Mr. Soumendra Nath Gangopadhyay, in the memories of their only child Dighir Ganguly who died in a road accident at the age of 22 while pursuing his MBA degree in Rural Management from a premium institute after completion of his Engineering degree. It is an endeavor of a bereaved parents who devoted themselves to serve the poor people of Sundarbans towards fulfilling the dream of their only child, Dighir Ganguly, who had a vision to work for the underprivileged people of Sundarbans after completion of his MBA degree.

Dighir Ganguly Foundation Trust is a registered public charitable trust and carries out various charitable programs on Education and Eye care services for the poor people belonging to remote villages surrounding Sundarbans Mangrove Forest under Hingalganj Block, North 24 Parganas, West Bengal.
